In the ancient Asian tradition, there is a figure who embodies the essence of tea and serves as a cultural icon in his community: the GongFuCha Host. In the East, this role is developed through years of study and practice; the host does more than just serve tea—he embodies a millennia-old culture.
You'll train to become a GongFuCha Host, learning about various arts, ceremonies, history, cultural practices, and complementary disciplines such as pottery, incense, calligraphy, etiquette, ikebana, and more.
You’ll gain valuable tools that can be applied in any country to enrich the Way of Tea with your students, clients, community… and, of course, for your own practice.
During the school year:

You will acquire the tools you need to grow as a Tea Host, integrating Asian tea culture into your professional, educational, or artistic practice.

You'll learn the latest insights from our recent trips to China and Taiwan, where we had the opportunity to interact directly with masters and experts in Asian tea culture.
03.
Access supplemental academic materials (at a discounted rate). Upon completing the course, you'll join the Pei Chen Host Community and enjoy its benefits.
