What is Pei Chen Tea Palace?
Pei Chen Tea Palace is an academy dedicated to the study, dissemination, and experience of Asian tea culture in the West. We are the first Asian tea house in South America and a center for the study of Asian tea culture. The name “Pei Chen” means “North Star” in Mandarin Chinese, symbolizing the guiding beacon for those navigating the world of tea.
What kinds of training programs do they offer?
We offer training programs for all levels, from introductory courses to professional specializations:
- Introductory courses: such as “The Reverse Engineering of Tea,” to help you take your first steps into the world of tea.
- Professional training: includes programs such as “GongFuCha Tea Ceremony,” “Technical Tea Tasting and Tea Culture,” and others.
- Advanced specializations: such as the Taiwanese Tea Specialization, an advanced course in technical tea tasting and tea culture.
- Collaborative Courses: We work with leading Asian tea experts and masters, such as Yang Tea and Master Chen, to offer unique training programs in Latin America.
How do I sign up for a course?
You can register directly through our online platform or by contacting us through our official channels. All inquiries regarding registration, payments, certificates, and course content must be submitted exclusively via email to the address provided by the Academy.
Where are the courses held?
We offer both online and in-person classes at our location at Olazábal 2510, Belgrano.
What certification do I receive upon completing a course?
Upon completing our training programs, you will receive a certificate of completion that recognizes your dedication and the knowledge you have acquired. Some courses, such as training trips, offer the opportunity to earn international certifications such as the TBRS (Tea & Beverage Research Station) in Taiwan.
How long is access to the online platform valid?
Access to the course on the online platform is limited to a specific duration, which is communicated at the beginning of each training session. Once the allotted time has expired, access is automatically and irrevocably revoked. It is the student’s responsibility to download or save any materials they wish to keep before access is closed.
What channels should I use to make inquiries?
To ensure orderly and efficient service, we use different channels:
