What are the Pei Chen Tea Palace tours?

These are cultural and educational immersions where we travel to the countries where tea originates to learn directly from producers, masters, and artisans. This isn't conventional tourism: we visit plantations, workshops, traditional factories, and local communities that aren't part of the usual tourist routes.

We organize trips to Taiwan and China, as well as to Peru in Latin America and within Argentina. Each destination is designed to explore a specific tea tradition.

Our trips usually take place in April/May and October/November. We recommend that you check our website or contact us to find out the exact dates for the next trip.

Yes. The program is designed so that you can combine destinations based on your interests and availability.

*Trips typically include:

  • Accommodations (shared rooms; single rooms available for an additional fee)
  • Full board (3 meals a day)

Ideally, yes. On our trips, we build on what we've learned in our training sessions. This doesn't mean that prior knowledge is required for every trip.
